Destiny Manzella is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist that uses her gifts to inspire, excite, and lead people closer to the heart of God. Her uplifting and worshipful lyrics mixed with her sweet soulful vocals and rhythmic guitar playing create such a unique sound and atmosphere that you can’t help but sing and dance along. The way she performs is another exciting part of the experience she creates, especially when using loop pedals and other effects. Destiny’s music ranges from joyful and encouraging anthems to powerful emotion filled testimonies. She incorporates a range of styles that influence her sound including Christian/Gospel, pop, rock, soul, funk, and blues, and is inspired by artists such as We The Kingdom and Brooke Ligertwood. Along with influences from her small hometown of Central, Louisiana, Destiny also takes inspiration from her birthplace of New Orleans.  

In addition to making music, Destiny has always gravitated towards the arts. Since a young age, Destiny has expressed herself through other artistic forms like dance, drawing, painting, and design, and she still enjoys communicating her artistry through them today. Though she always played around with her little pink guitar as a child, putting on mini concerts for her family and singing to the top of her lungs, it wasn’t until one of her older brothers started playing the guitar that really made her eager to shred a six string. At only 12 years old, a couple months after starting lessons, Destiny began performing a few songs during her guitar teacher's shows at local restaurants. After the first time she performed live, Destiny felt the call to share her music with others for the rest of her life.

Since then, Destiny has performed at many venues and festivals around Louisiana including The 3rd Street Songwriters Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and Tipitina’s. She has also ministered leading worship at her church and has played at other numerous churches and conferences, as well as, volunteered with her talents to bring joy to those in hospitals, caregiving facilities, and other fundraisers. In addition to performing and volunteering over the years, Destiny has been studying music at Loyola University New Orleans where she now obtains a Bachelor of Science degree in Popular and Commercial Music with a specialization in Popular Voice. Destiny is planning to release her debut single this spring and is currently recording her debut EP! In the meantime, Destiny has collaborated with an artist by the name of Sicka Sin, and is featured on his song titled “Always With Me” that is available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube!
